CASE STUDY INDEX
Client Need:
Designers needed a material and a company to work inside and out to create paving, floors and rock features that worked in concert to create an inviting mountain lodge environment. With interior and exterior rock features and a stream running throughout the design, they also needed a company with technical expertise in water features.

Solution:
Colorado Hardscapes worked closely with the designers to create the custom colors and the right texture for the paving. Colorado Hardscapes water feature experience allowed us to offer a turn-key solution for the interior and exterior rock and water features.

Results:
4,227 square feet of Bomanite® imprinted concrete and 3,480 square feet of custom rock features grace the resort. Outside, custom rock features and Bomanite make a compact and functional common courtyard. A heated Bomanite pool deck surrounds the rock water slide, large hot tub, waterfall, and fountains. An English Slate texture mat was used, and saw-cuts and bear prints were added to the deck for design. Inside the lodge, an imprinted concrete floor leads you through the lobby and is used throughout the facilities, including a workout room and bathrooms. Keystone's interior water feature, located in the main lobby and constructed on a structural floor slab over the parking garage, made waterproofing and weight limitations very important factors during the construction. A simulated rock fireplace and planters give the inside the look of the great outdoors.
